Kid Caddie FAQ

After processing, we have fulfilled 97% of orders in 5 days or less over the last 30 days. Production takes place in our USA factory based in the Midwest and they will be fulfilled from our distribution center in Texas. Which means no long delays with over seas shipping or settling for anything but the highest quality.

International orders are fulfilled at a similar velocity but are subject to customs throughput.

Yes it is! There are talented product developers all over the world but for this product we felt very strongly that it needed to be made in the USA. We chose a company in the Midwest to build our tooling and produce the product and the level of partnership and collaboration we’ve gotten from them during this process confirmed this was the absolute right decision for the Kid Caddie.

The accessories are also all built in house at our 3-D printing studio. This is the same lab our founder used to build and prototype the first Kid Caddies as we looked to invent the first product to help families use a stroller to play golf together.

The Kid Caddie fits nearly any stroller so long as you have a 12 inch handlebar and a basket underneath.

The design of the Kid Caddie uses the basket underneath to support the club grips and keep more of the weight centered under to stroller to make it more stable.

Watch our product demo for a better look at how it attaches to the stroller.

With a focus on strength to weight ratio the Kid Caddie is built from a PolyCarbonate blended plastic. We went with a non metal option to ensures that the product is non damaging to your clubs. It also maintains optimal strength for carrying your clubs and impact resistance for normal use on uneven terrain found on the course.

We prototyped numerous materials and over 25 different designs for the Kid Caddie before we settled on what we believe to be the perfect solution.

This is something that each course decides for themselves. We have over 100 testers using the product covering every US state and multiple countries and all of them have found courses to use the Kid Caddie on.

Courses that are typically very family friendly are the par 3, 9 hole, and municipal courses. We also have courses public and private clubs where families have golfed with their kids. Courses that are often more reluctant are ones with high census that sent of groups quickly. More and more courses have been allowing it as Kid Caddie has helped to advocate for families with young kids playing together. Courses that are investing in growing the game and building youth programs are often very supportive.

One of the big moments for family golf was when we were recognized by the PGA members at the 2023 PGA show as a New Product Zone top product finishing 4th out of 110 products.

Safety is key and is something each family should consider and ensure they’re in a comfortable & safe environment. I personally find that by using the strollers built-in canopy, playing familiar courses, and playing at slow times, that I am comfortable when I have my kids with me on the course. I have played over 50 rounds with my kids ranging from ages 4 to 6 months old. Other helpful tips are facing the stroller away from other nearby golfers and using proper golf educate for staying behind other golfers in you party when they are swinging. I have felt that by following these helpful guidelines that the benefits of the time I spend with my kids and teaching them the sport outweigh the risks. Each family should should weight the options and make a decision based on their level of comfort.

The Kid Caddie was designed to use the basket underneath to center the weight of the clubs as much as possible. By using the undercarriage and not hanging the full club weight clubs from the handlebars the balance of the stroller is maintained as much as possible.

If the stroller ever feels as if it’s unbalanced, a simple counter weight like an exercise ankle weight or diaper bag will typically do the trick. As little as 5 lbs will offset the clubs weight.

With young kids who remain in the stroller, things are typically very sturdy. As kids get older, similar to how you would normally use you stroller, you’ll want to be mindful of the angle that stroller is parked on when they hop in and out. Kids will want to be included in the game so taking steps like pointing the stroller perpendicular to any hills and putting the break on are good routines.
